Live music is coming to Siesta Beach Nov. 10-13, courtesy of the 2017 Crystal Classic Master Sand Sculpting Festival. Ten bands will perform under “a massive tent on the beach” during the family-friendly festival, a news release says. The lineup will include “an eclectic roster of popular local and Bay area acts,” the release adds.
For the first time, the festival will be open until 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with live music, drinks at the party tent and “a fabulous light display of the amazing sculptures,” the release notes.

All-access, four-day music passes — priced at $30 — may be purchased online until Oct. 29. The headliners will be Reverend Barry & The Funktastic Soul (The Funk), Kettle of Fish, Jah Movement and One Night Rodeo.

Among other festival attractions will be free sand-sculpting lessons, The Learning Curve Art & Science Lab, an amateur sculpting competition on Saturday, Quick Sand speed-sculpting demonstrations, and an array of food, drink and retail vendors.
