The Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast is inviting the public to a monthly summer Food Truck Friday Night series at the nonprofit’s Bay Preserve headquarters in Osprey.

“Enjoy food and fun with friends while taking in a summer sunset” at these family-friendly events, a news release says.

“Each month, from June through September, food trucks will be onsite, serving up local flavor on the shores of Little Sarasota Bay,” the release adds. Food prices will vary by truck, it notes.

The dates are as follows, with each event beginning at 5 p.m. and ending at 8 p.m.:

  • Friday, June 10,
  • Friday, July 22.
  • Friday, Aug. 19.
  • Friday, Sept. 9.

Along with the food trucks, the gatherings will feature a raffle, “as well as some exhibitors/activity booths for everyone to visit and enjoy,” the release points out. Additionally, members of the Conservation Foundation team will be available to answer questions about their work.

Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets for these picnic-style gatherings, the release says.

This series is free and open to the public, the release points out. However, in an effort to ensure plenty of parking, RSVPs are requested, the release says. To RSVP or for more information, visit conservationfoundation.com/events.

Bay Preserve is located at 400 Palmetto Avenue in Osprey.
