Lighting project planned
Gulf Gate Public Library, which stands at 7112 Curtiss Ave. in Sarasota, will be closed from Nov. 9 to Nov. 14 for a lighting replacement project that will improve visibility and the ability to program the lighting, county staff has announced.
The initiative also will make facility maintenance easier, a news release says.
The exterior book return access will remain open for library patrons to return items, the release adds.
Services are expected to resume at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15.
